New enterprises get a head start at The Heathfield Show

24th May

The New Enterprise Zone is home to a group of hand picked new businesses, who, in the face of tough competition, have won a stand at the show.  Local businesses in the past such as Hidden Spring, Wanted on Voyage and Kennedy Chimney Sweeps have all benefited from this initiative and found it a huge help in launching their enterprises. Infact, Wanted on Voyage and Kennedy Sweeps have stands at the show this year.

“I applied a few years ago to the powers that be at the Heathfield Show, requesting a stand in the New Enterprise Zone and thankfully they accepted. I cannot thank them enough, this gesture really kicked started my business, on the show day we took many bookings and made many friends. Now,  years later my son has joined the business. He is now fully trained and eager to improve the way we work. We always enjoy our day exhibiting at the show, and meeting existing customers and wandering the stands. ” commented Nick Kennedy of Kennedy Chimney Sweeps

This year you can meet:

FeelAliveAgri

FeelAliveAgri

Jack Sheffield, the guy behind the brand explained how it came about:

“The saying ‘feel alive’ came around a few years ago, it originated one harvest with a group of mates, I was driving a 7530 at the time one day I came up with the saying ‘feel alive in the 75’ this became a joke between us.  Then it spread further through the use of such social media platforms like Facebook and Snapchat, then on Instagram it became #feelaliveinthe75. The hashtag caught on massively and one day I decided to get lots of decals saying so which proved very popular, then I decided to create this! FeelAliveAgri! “.

Come and meet Jack on his Stand.
