Open Garden at Foxhunt Manor, In aid of St Wilfrids Hospice. 26th of July 11am ~ 4pm
A truly magnificent Edwardian garden set in 50 acres. Sunken Italian garden, wildflower walk, walled kitchen garden and orchard, with extensive lawns and flower beds.
This Grade II listed house dates from 1898-99 and is part of an estate of similarly designed buildings. Originally a single dwelling home, it became a preparatory boarding school in 1935 and then a convent in 1959. It is now being repaired by its current owners who run an antiques business from the former refectory. ( House not open to the public )
This is a unique opportunity to visit a privately owned garden, not normally open to the public.
