SUMMARY:Learn traditional leaded light glass techniques at a two day worksh
 op at Herstmonceux Castle
DESCRIPTION:\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nLearn the traditional skills for leaded glass de
 signs\n\nMake a small to medium-sized stained-glass panel of your own desi
 gn and learn traditional glass techniques. This course is suitable for com
 plete beginners or people with some experience. It is not suitable for pre
 gnant women.\n\nOne to one and group tuition will enable you to play and e
 xplore colour and learn at your own pace. You will create a translucent ha
 nging panel for your home or as a gift. Traditional techniques include gla
 ss cutting\, leading\, soldering and cementing.\n\nDuring this two-day cou
 rse\, you will be able to create your own design using 6 – 12 glass piec
 es (dependent on experience). These will be leaded and soldered into a han
 ging panel or to be fitted into a space.\n\nThis course is suitable for co
 lour and light lovers\, complete beginners and those with some experience.
  Basic materials are included\, along with a good selection of textured an
 d coloured glass. Additional materials will be available to buy if you wan
 t to use more opulent glass.\n\nSpend two days learning an ancient craft a

 rooks studied glass and painting in Edinburgh and creates public artworks 
 around the UK. Her work typically explores texture\, translucency and a se
 nse of place and grows out of her stained glass training. Kirsty has taugh
 t a number of workshops and courses over the last two decades in further e
 ducation\, schools and community groups. She specialises in exploring crea
 tivity through play and combining mixed media and experimental processes. 
 She has taught stained glass in London for the last twelve years and is no
