Search for local nature items that often go unnoticed in and around the gardens and grounds. Pick up a scavenger hunt activity sheet from the Visitor Centre and see if you can find them all. Return your completed sheet to Castle reception to claim your Scavenger sticker.
In addition to the above activity, see if you can find your way through our rope maze or have a go on our giant tree swing.
The newly refurbished Chestnuts Tea Room will be open daily for light lunches and afternoon teas, including homemade cakes and daily specials. Children’s lunch boxes will also be available.
The Castle Arts Gallery will once again offer affordable items from local artists along with a range of Castle souvenirs.
