 Wealden’s high streets are transforming into lively stages for a spectac
 ular lineup of artists and performances to promote the district’s vibran
 t local towns.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Heathfield event kicks off on Saturday 26 Ap
 ril\, from 11.30am–2.30pm in Heathfield High Street\,  residents can jo
 in in with activities for all the family. There is no need to book and the
  completely free entertainment is funded by Wealden District Council’s U
 K Shared Prosperity Fund and supported using public funding by the Nationa
 l Lottery through Arts Council England.\n\nThe events are run and hosted b
 y 18 Hours Events.On Saturday 26 April from 11.30am –2.30pm Heathfield h
 as an animal theme with the Flying Dodos from Thingumajig Theatre along wi
 th the Creature Encounters - Borneo\, An Act Above - The Dragons\, Sonia S
 abri The Elephant and the Drummer and Insideout Theatre -The Scientists.Co
 me and enjoy all the High Street has to offer with its independent shops a
 nd eateries. The town still has a butcher\, greengrocer and Italian deli/b
 ar alongside the cafes and services.\n\nCouncillor James Partridge\, Allia
 nce for Wealden (Liberal Democrat) lead councillor for Governance\, Waste 
 &amp\; Local Economy and deputy leader of the council said\, “These even
 ts are a fantastic way to bring our communities together while celebrating
  the charm of our local high streets. Thanks to the UK Shared Prosperity F
 und\, Arts Council England and the creativity of 18 Hours\, we’ve been a
 ble to deliver these brilliant performances year after year. It’s a day 
 full of laughter\, joy and unforgettable moments for the whole family.”\
