Winning streak for Cross in Hand Tennis Club

Cross in Hand tennis teams are on a winning streak with three convincing victories in the last few days.

As part of the Wilson Sandford Tennis Sussex Summer Doubles Leagues 2018, Cross in Hand ladies competed on Sunday at home on the clay courts against Sussex County Lawn Tennis Club winning 4-0. The Cross in Hand team included Suzi Christie, Jenny Paxton, Anne Horsfall-Turner and Tracey Boorman. The latest win means Cross in Hand is top of their division by three points.

The men took on Southdown on the astro winning 3-1. Representing Cross in Hand was James Smith, Richard Collier Keywood, Tony Waller and Ken Pollock.

On Monday night in the Horam League Cross in Hand claimed a 3-0 victory over local rivals Horam Tennis Club. The match involved a men’s doubles, a ladies’ doubles and a mixed. Representing Cross in Hand were Martin Stringer, Tony Keeping, Geoff Cooper, Suzi Christie, Anne Horsfall-Turner and Andrea Law.
