Foodie Delights at The Heathfield Show

Food and drink are a major attraction for visitors to The Heathfield Show. You will find everything from fairground fodder to local specialist producers, food trucks and a Food Tent.

Farmers’ Markets are a a great opportunity for producers to sell directly to the public. People love shopping at Farmers’ Markets – it’s the only place that they can talk directly to producers about exactly how the food they are about to eat has been produced.  The Farmers’ Market at the Heathfield Show is a dedicated area of the Showground where local producers come and sell their produce.  The stalls range from bread, to meat, to honey, fresh raw milk, locally produced cider, asparagus etc.  In 2019 there are 24 stalls, some you will already know and some are newcomers; either way there will be lots to try and buy.  The Heathfield Show works in conjunction with the Heathfield Farmers’ Market to promote  local Farmers’.

The Farmers’ Market area is a popular area of the Showground for all our visitors. It’s easy to see why. You will find so many tempting things to taste and buy, here are just a few of the producers you will see: artisan cheeses from local producers by Alsop & Walker, Sussex High Weald Dairy and Nut Knowle Farm Goats Cheese, meats and charcuterie from Beals Charcuterie, Busters, Coopers Farm, jams and condiments from Kush Cuisine, Le Mesuriers Ltd, Cherry Tree Nursery and Bookham Fine Foods, organic milk by Hook & Son, and for those with a sweet tooth Let me Bake It cakes, Minimouthfuls and O’er the Moon handmade confectionary.
