Learn the traditional skills for leaded glass designs
Make a small to medium-sized stained-glass panel of your own design and learn traditional glass techniques. This course is suitable for complete beginners or people with some experience. It is not suitable for pregnant women.
One to one and group tuition will enable you to play and explore colour and learn at your own pace. You will create a translucent hanging panel for your home or as a gift. Traditional techniques include glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing.
During this two-day course, you will be able to create your own design using 6 – 12 glass pieces (dependent on experience). These will be leaded and soldered into a hanging panel or to be fitted into a space.
This course is suitable for colour and light lovers, complete beginners and those with some experience. Basic materials are included, along with a good selection of textured and coloured glass. Additional materials will be available to buy if you want to use more opulent glass.
Spend two days learning an ancient craft and leave with a stunning, personal creation.
