A wide range of candidates to choose from

Heathfield and the surrounding villages straddle two electroral seats – Bexhill & Battle and Sussex Weald (previously Wealden). Nus Ghani is standing for re-election in the newly formed Sussex Weald constituency (Crowborough, Heathfield and Hailsham) alongside nine other candidates. And now that Huw Merriman is not seeking re-election his seat will be contested by a new Conservative & Unionist Party candidate Kieran Mullan and a host of contenders including Rother district Councillor, Christine Bayliss for Labour.
