East Sussex’s ‘best day out’ the Heathfield Agricultural Show is back
In just over a week, on the 24th of May 2025, The Heathfield Agricultural Show returns to celebrate another year of countryside craftsmanship, displays, stands and award winning livestock and equine events. On Saturday, there is an incredible lineup of events awaiting visitors, young and old, including The Shetland Pony Grand National, The Sheepdog and Ducks Display and so much more…
This year’s annual show promises to pack a punch, with children now going free and adults having the chance to bag discounted tickets, using the exclusive early bird offer available until May 16th. Tickets are being snapped up quickly though, so make sure to secure them for the whole family before the offer expires. As this event is sure to be a crowd pleaser, with the promise of high steam engine displays and time tested transportation to take audiences back to the history of this idyllic town.
Lots of stalls showcasing food & wine and country crafts
The event is taking place, in the heart of the Sussex countryside, on Tottingworth Farm Showground where the options are endless. From 8:30am, there will be an exceptional arts and crafts fair to showcase the creativity of our local businesses, in a variety of handmade items.
On the theme of crafting, local craftsmen will be attending to demonstrate century old skills, associated with living in the countryside. From beekeeping to birds of prey and basket weaving to terrier racing, it is the perfect family day out, with something for everyone to enjoy!

Education Zone, New Enterprize Zone and lots of trade stands
Throughout the day the event will be hosting an education zone where visitors have the chance to engage in a lively display aimed to encapsulate the beauty of wildlife and the serenity of our natural landscape. Soak up everything the farming community has to offer while savouring the sunshine and saying hello to some lambs!
Then to follow the excitement, take a trip down to the farmers market, selling local produce and award winning food and drink. There are a variety of sweet treats and savoury snacks to satisfy your tastebuds and boost your annual experience, so you have no choice but to return next year!

Tractors and steam engines galore
Not only does The Heathfield Show celebrate the years of dedication that has been put into the farming industry; but this year there is something particularly special being hosted by the South East Vintage Tractor Club.
The Aveling & Porter A7 Traction Engine is back for more fun at this year’s show, alongside a display showing the timeline of the Fordson E27N, to mark the 80th year of this marvellous piece of machinery, carrying the agricultural sector on its back.
Dynamic motorcycle displays
As well as this, The Heathfield Show is welcoming Bolddog FMX to the grounds to perform their daring motorcycle display. They are inviting audiences to watch in awe as they provide non stop action from start to finish. Their high flying feature is sure to raise anticipation and get pulses racing.
There will be a large array of machines to discover, and plenty of questions to be asked to the wonderful members of the community who own them.

The Heathfield Show is also thrilled to announce that Heffle W1 have decided to accept the invitation to join the show this year to continue spreading news of women’s experiences, skills and interests, creating an encouraging environment welcome to all.
