Hidden Spring Vineyard in Horam

The Tasting Room at Hidden Spring Vineyard

This Tuesday sees the launch of a new monthly forum for business owners in Heathfield and surrounding area.

Run by Heathfield Chamber of Commerce, the first meeting will be on Tuesday 16th January between 7am-8:30am in the Tasting Room at Hidden Spring Vineyard.  After the first meeting the group will meet monthly on the third Tuesday of every month at different venues around the area.

The events will be a great opportunity to meet local businesses and share experiences, share common issues and practices, get informal help and support and make new connections.

The format will be:

•       A one-minute slot for all attendees to introduce themselves /their business

•       A 10 minute slot for a member to fully explain their business and provide details of special offers.  This will be Chris Phipps of Hidden Spring Vineyard at the first meeting on 16th January.

•       A 10 to 20 minute slot for a member/guest to introduce and discuss a selected business-related topic. The first will be on Digital Marketing with Julian Wates of Sokada and Emma Pearce of Pearce Marketing.

•       Meetings will close with open discussions and notices, or informal 1:1 meetings.

Organisers Richard Williams and Julian Wates of the Heathfield Chamber said: “This is not about the breakfast; it’s about building relationships, sharing knowledge and experience and working on common problems.”

They added: “These events are initially open to any businesses in Heathfield and the surrounding areas, but may have to be limited to Chamber members in the future as interest in this enterprising group develops and we have to limit numbers. This is a great opportunity for the Heathfield Business Community to develop and work together for the common good.”
