Jayne Torvill makes a guest appearance at Young at Heart Community Club in Heathfield

Young at Heart Community Club, based in Heathfield were delighted to welcome Olympic gold medal winner – ice dancer Jayne Torvill OBE last Tuesday to talk to the children of All Saints’ & St Richard’s Church of England Primary School who were brilliant with their questions!
Other activity on the day included cherryspringstudio who kindly organised the craft activity, and Marti came to give massages to all those who wanted one – hugely relaxing!
Thursday was Qigong with Rowana Mladek and singing with Angela Marcella Murrell and @Cake and Wine Club Choir in the afternoon they were joined by Little Tinkers Nursery School for Bingo and fun and games.
On Friday knitting/crochet/woodwork was the mornings activities and in the afternoon we were joined by Blackboys C of E Primary School with hearing the children read and supporting their school topic of “Grace Darling” lots of brilliant lighthouse pictures!
