Pupils “are supported to develop a particularly strong moral understanding”.
“The Governors would like to give credit to our inspirational teaching team, who under the outstanding leadership of our Head Teacher, Debbie Gilbert, have succeeded in retaining this rating from the previous inspection in 2011. Very few schools have achieved this and we believe the latest inspection reflects our passion to develop the full potential of all our pupils both academically and socially,” commented, Jan McKeever, Chair of Governors.
The school which was started in 1729, has 161 pupils and capacity to accept more. The school prides itself on its committed and highly experienced staff, the beautiful rural location, multi-use games area and Summer field, Forest School and Mud Kitchen, and an inclusive community feel.
