For years, Sarah Tate’s photography studio on Hailsham Road in Heathfield has been a place of joy, tenderness, and transformation. Known and loved for her newborn portraits — those gentle, heartwarming glimpses into new life — Sarah has captured milestones, memories, and moments that matter for families across Sussex and beyond.

But now, a new chapter begins.

Sarah is turning her lens towards something deeply powerful; Boudoir By Sarah Tate Photography. It’s not just about beautiful photographs.  It’s about body confidence, self-discovery and celebrating the woman you are today.  Sarah’s about to relocate to Hellingly in a dedicated studio space designed specifically for boudoir photography that will be a safe, empowering and intimate space.

It’s more than a photo session

Many of Sarah’s clients come to her during a time of change — whether it’s life after divorce, recovery from illness or surgery, weight loss journeys or simply the desire to reconnect with themselves. What they find is more than a photo session. They find a safe space to be seen, heard and celebrated.

“I’m working on rebuilding my confidence after undergoing a hysterectomy for cervical cancer. I’m also creating a social media presence on TikTok and I’m fortunate to have nearly 40k followers. I’d really like to learn about body empowerment and start feeling like a woman again,”  Gem

Exciting move to new ‘Boudoir’ Studio

Sarah is working out of her Hailsham Road Studio until the end of August and she is preparing  to move into a new dedicated and intimate boudoir studio in Hellingly, not far from Heathfield.  Sarah is also embracing a change in lifestyle. After surviving a heart attack last year, she’s changing the way she works and  she’s passionate about raising awareness of women’s heart health, especially post-menopause when risks increase significantly due to the drop in hormones.
