Winning entry to the Parish Council’s colouring competition
The winner of the Parish Council’s colouring competition is Sophia Eyles (age 7), the two runners up were Mia Jeremy and George Alexander, a big well done to all the children who took part in the competition.
Sophia will be switching on the Heathfield lights this Friday at 4.30pm. The Lighting Up Ceremony is open to all and starts at 3.30 at the Fire Station.
There will be an opportunity to meet Santa Claus, sing along to carols with the Choral Society, enjoy free refreshments – mince pies and mulled wine and listen to the Heathfield Silver Band while you late night shop ’til 8pm.
Enjoy an evening of shopping and socialising in the wonderful independent retailers on Heathfield High Street, Station Road and beyond.

When Sophia switches on the lights and to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening – there will be a necessary road closures for the Christmas Event from 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm on Friday 19 November. The access to Mill Road and Tilsmore Road from the High Street will be closed. Mill Road Car Park will be open and access will be via Sheepsetting Lane.
