Time to enjoy the Cuckoo Trail and a wine tour and tasting at Off the Line Vineyard
A perfect opportunity to enjoy award winning rosé wines produced in Off the Line Vineyard, Hellingly, East Sussex. During August you can visit this, state of the art vineyard, find out more about the wine with a tasting and enjoy a self-guided walk. Wine is available by the glass, and the cellar door shop offers sales by the bottle too. Opening times are 11 am to 4 pm Saturdays and Sundays and the same time August bank holiday Monday.
Access is easy from the Cuckoo Trail entrance gate if you are thinking of walking there or cycling. See the map of the vineyard below. You can drive in from North Street, where there is a large car park on the Hellingly side if you prefer. The estate comprises 32 acres and faces towards the South Downs with beautiful woodland areas and is rich in biodiveristy. Owners, local residents, Kristina and Ann-Marie are involved in all aspects of the running of the vineyard and make the wine in the on-site modern winery.
It’s £5 per person for a tasting. Still rosé and fizz is available to buy by the glass. There is no need to book but Kristina and Ann-Marie do ask people to let them know they are coming to ensure safe social distancing at all times .
