Willow + Wild Box founder aims to help parents get creative with kids

6th July

Willow + Wild boxesA Heathfield entrepreneur has launched a children’s monthly subscription box inspired by nature and the great outdoors.

The monthly subscription box is aimed at children aged 3 to 8 years of age and is packed with a variety of nature-related activities focusing on gardening, craft, cooking and creating.

Designed with busy parents and Grandparents in mind, Willow + Wild Box is the brainchild of Roz Harvey, who gave up her City job last year to develop and recently launch the business from company HQ in Heathfield, East Sussex.

Seeing a gap in the market for subscription boxes that inspire all-year round learning with an emphasis on nature and the great outdoors, the personalised, seasonal boxes contain all the instructions and materials needed to sow and grow plants, flowers and vegetables, indoors and outdoors.Roz Harvey

As well as green-fingered activities, different table-top crafts are included every month, as well as an activity book and recipe cards for children and grown-ups to cook and bake delicious foods for the whole family to enjoy.

Appropriately sized to fit through all letterboxes, each month’s box delivers new activities, adventure and fun, making Willow + Wild Box the subscription box that just keeps on giving.

Founder of Willow + Wild Box, Roz Harvey said: “Gardening is my passion and I love getting my hands muddy and being creative with my five year old, which was the inspiration behind Willow + Wild Box. With so many parents being time poor nowadays, I wanted to be able to provide ready-to-go activities with all the instructions and materials needed to take the admin out of having creative fun with the kids.

“More children than ever are on screens, so it’s important to redress the balance, and inspire children to be creative by immersing themselves in nature. Gardening is a brilliant way to educate and develop new skills and there’s certainly no App available that can recreate this.”

All Willow + Wild Box activities can be brought indoors if weather and lack of outdoor space permits, with gardening activities available for all seasons.
