Bigger and better Arts and Crafts Marquee at this year’s Heathfield Show

23rd May

Last year’s new format Arts & Crafts marquee was a huge success.  This year 2019 there is an even bigger and better marquee. This dedicated area will be for like minded creative businesses to showcase and sell their hand-crafted, unique products. From wood crafts and metal smiths, glass, ceramics and textiles, through to artists and photographers.  The artists and crafts people will be displaying, selling and taking commissions for their work. Definitely worth having a look around the tent to see all of the varied works on display.

Pet portraits are hugely popular and the show has some of the best artists working in this area. Louise Birch will be working on her beloved dog portrait during the show; an excellent opportunity to see the artist at work.

Perhaps it isn’t a pet you want to remember, maybe you have a home that you would like to be preserved on paper. Once the work is completed you can use the image across cards and post cards, wherever you are inspired to use it. Eli Ofir will be there for you to meet, and he will be drawing his way through the day, giving you the opportunity to see him at work.

” I feel humble and grateful that I am blessed with this talent for drawing and that I am able to pass on this heavenly gift and touch the hearts of others. I can say with pride that I have finally returned to my roots, when I was a little boy drawing on a classroom table so long ago…once again I am drawing castles in the land of kings and princesses,” commented Eli Ofir, artist.

If portraits aren’t you thing then there artists working with metal, textiles, wood, glass and ceramics.
