Heathfield’s Christmas ‘switch on’
This year the town will come alive with the annual Christmas Lighting Up Event on Friday 24th November 2023 from 3.45pm until 6.30pm at the Fire Station. There will be performances from: Punnetts Town Primary School, All Saints & St Richards Primary School, entertainment from Marco the Magician, Heathfield Community College, the singer Bibi, and the Sussex Stompers. The little ones can enjoy seeing Father Christmas arrive on his sleigh at 3.45pm and they will be able to visit him from 3.50pm until 5.25pm. You will need to organise pre-booked tickets for this so pop by the Parish Council office in the High Street or email: hstevens@hwpc.org.uk to get yours.
Don’t forget there will be late night shopping at the host of wonderful independent shops on the High Street and Station Road these include homewares, craft, antiques, beauty salons and more.
There will be a pop-up Christmas market in State Hall and the Christmas tree festival display at Union Church. The Dough Miky Pizza will also be serving up his delicious authentic wood fired pizza outside Cuculo Cheese & Wine where you can enjoy a glass of something festive and some Christmas shopping.
