Heathfield Traders unite to bring festive Christmas fun to Heathfield
This time last year, shops in Heathfield were reeling from the impact of having the High Street closed for the best part of the month of November. Campaigns like the one we ran #shopheathfield which promoted the need to support our local shopkeepers coupled with the activities mounted by the businesses themselves helped to keep the High St ‘open’. In time for the festive season this year, Heathfield Traders and The Chamber of Commerce have joined forces to bring a bigger and better Christmas Funday and two late night shopping events.
“After last year’s road closure we really wanted to do something postive for the town. Something to celebate the unique mix of independent traders who can still be found in our High Street and environs. We wanted to bring the traders together to showcase the dynamic businesses and create a series of festive events.” Rachel from Wanted on Voyage, spokesperson, Christmas in Heathfield
