A mobile stylist from Five Ashes is gearing up to re-connect with customers in their own homes for the first time in many months.
She will be wearing full PPE and adhering to the new rules since the coronavirus outbreak to keep herself and customers safe. *Amy has been busy practising wearing her PPE by working on a mannequin.
She said: “It’s quite hard wearing it to work in and will take some getting used to.”

Amy is based in Five Ashes and established Style Perfection Mobile Hairdressing in 2013 after moving from Uckfield a couple of years ago. Amy offers women’s and children’s cuts, blowdries, colours/highlights, tape in hair extensions, prom, evening and wedding hair – all in the comfort of your own home.
Amy’s loyalty card scheme gives clients 10% off once they have collected ten stamps. Prior to any colour treatments consultations and skin tests are carried out during 30-minute complimentary appointments.
During lockdown, although Amy was looking after her one-year old daughter and homeschooling her four-year old son who attends the local school, she decided to make use of her time off work and learn a new skill by completing an online course with exam in tape hair extensions. Working with brides and wedding parties as well as prom and evening hair are the parts of her job that Amy loves most. She finds herself travelling all over East Sussex to provide that special hair style for the special day or event taking place.
