The Warbleton and District Horticultural and Poultry Society 89th Summer Show – 27 July

The Warbleton and District Horticultural and Poultry Society 89th Summer Show (AKA Rushlake Green Flower Show) is taking place on Rushlake Green on Saturday 27th July 2024 from 1pm.
There are 136 classes available to enter across Fruit and Vegetables, Plants and Flowers, Floral Art, Handicrafts, Photography, Poultry and Eggs, Cookery and Preserves with extra Junior categories plus Children’s races and an open dog show. Prizes are given for each class and there are 30 trophies to compete for.
The afternoon will open with the Warbleton Brass Band, there will be retail therapy opportunities galore including our ever-popular tea tent and our Pimm’s stall and two raffles – a wheelbarrow of booze and a chance to win £100 kindly donated by Batchellor Monkhouse plus lots of other prizes.
The marquee is open free to members from 1:30pm and to the public for a small fee for adults from 1:45pm in order to admire the exhibits and enter the People’s Choice Vote for the final trophy of the day.
If that wasn’t enough for one afternoon, we have evening tickets for sale for a post-show party night with Small Talk who will be playing everything from classic hits to chart topping favourites in the marquee from7:30pm. We have the venue and music, just buy a ticket from Rushlake Green Village Stores or Gill Snook on 07939 515072 and bring your picnics.

Closing time for entries is 5pm on Wednesday 24th July (or for an additional admin fee by 5pm on Friday 26th, just to ensure those blooms and vegetables are at their absolute peak!)
