East Sussex Dance Studios was established in 2014 ( formally Heathfield School of dance since 1979) Classes include Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Acro, Pointe Work, Boys Only, Street and Commercial for Boys and Girls age 3 and up. A pre-school programme (from 18 months) help toddlers enhance co-ordination and rhythm through imagination and song.

All teachers are highly qualified through the I.S.T.D Examination board (among others), and many are ex professional performers.

We hold a 100 % exam pass rate for students and taking part in regular shows, dance festivals, holiday clubs and more.

We provide first-class training to inspire students with a passion to perform and express themselves to the best of their individual ability. Our mission is to motivate and encourage creativity and confidence in a fun, safe and friendly environment

Our students have been accepted into The Royal Ballet School, Tring Park School of Performing Arts, (two of the most prestigious performing arts schools in the world) Southern Youth Ballet, English Youth Ballet, National Youth Music Theatre and even playing leading roles in London’s West End.

Acrobatics classes are at Skippers Hill and (from January) there will be classes at Mayfield Memorial Hall.
